I was recently away from my daughter for a week. It was my sister's wedding. As the trip approached, my anxiety grew, mixed in with the sadness to be away from my daughter and my husband. I don’t know who needs to hear this, but we all deserve some alone time: to nurture, love, and be with ourselves.

Durante mi embarazo había leído y escuchado que la leche materna es lo mejor que le puedes dar a tu bebé. Estaba decidida a darle de lactar a mi bebé exclusivamente por 6 meses. Sin embargo, cuando mi hija nació las cosas no fueron como las había planeado. Mi camino de lactancia fue inesperadamente desafiante.
